he COVID-19 pandemic has brought the pre-crisis vision of equitable, relevant, and quality skills development into sharper relief, adding unforeseen urgency to the calls for reform and highlighting the huge costs of inaction.
Skill Development is the process of identification of the skills gap in youth and providing skilling training & employment benefits to them. At SEED, we acknowledge the ability of the youth and extend our support by serving them with the guidance, infrastructure, opportunities, and encouragement that help them to achieve their ambitions. While skill building and training help the youth enhance their skillset, various additions like motivational sessions, mock interviews, personality building, volunteer interactions, exposure visits and so on, strengthen their overall profile.
We work towards mitigating the unemployment rate among the underprivileged youth in India. We work extensively with various key stakeholders – government (central and state), private companies (sponsors and employers), foundations, trainees and parents – creating a vibrant mix of sponsored and trainee/employer paid programs with a singular objective of matching youth to jobs or self-employment opportunities.
