For increasing economic potential of India it is necessary to increase potential of our Youth as well. Seed CSR has implemented a number of Skill Development Programs in collaboration with many corporates. Just to name one among them is our recent skill development session where 600 youth took part. This implementation was a part of DFHL’s CSR initiative, where we conducted a world class training sessions by highly experienced experts of BFSI domain and construction sector. It was wonderful to see a large number of youth coming forward to attend this session and making it a huge success.
The event started with candle enlightenment by Mr. Anirban Roy, CEO Seed CSR and a note from his end. After his valuable speech , Mr. Harshil Mehta CEO DHFL also shared his vision with respect to Skill Development Journey initiated by DHFL & Seed CSR. The event preceded with showcasing the Skill of Youth gained through training program for Construction & BFSI Curriculum. Out of 600 youth, 409 were interested in BFSI domain so got trained in same and 200 were interested becoming skilled in construction work.
All of them completed their training program successfully and were feeling obliged while attending convocation ceremony, where they were recognized for their good work. We not only help them getting trained but 80% of them got placed in many different companies. Hence in this way we are doing our bit in empowering nation by putting efforts to make every youth skilled, so that they can grab jobs to earn a good and decent livelihood for them. Not many students enter higher education, so are not capable enough to earn minimum wages required for basic living standard. Every student can’t become a doctor, engineer, lawyer, etc. There are many other skills that can help our youth in opening new job opportunities for them.
By implementing different types of skill development initiatives for companies like DHFL, we are helping more and more youth in refining their skills so that they can become self-dependent.
