Rural Health care is one of biggest challenge for our country. India’s 70 percent population is living in rural areas and mortality rates are really high due to poor healthcare facilities. Various organizations are coming together with Seed CSR for improvements in health care facilities in Rural India

Providing Better Healthcare services is our promise to community and that is why Seed CSR is a leading organization who has initiated a number of CSR Projects in Healthcare. Initiating CSR in Healthcare is a challenging task, so we have a doctor’s team who are well efficient in doing their job responsibilities. Still many of India’s Population cannot afford basic healthcare services, especially population of rural areas/ villages. Seed CSR frequently organizes health check-up camps for free of cost, where certified and experienced doctors goes for overall check-up of villagers followed by medication. India also accounts for the largest number of maternity deaths. A majority of people in rural areas where maternal health care is poor are still seeking a good health care service. Seed CSR provides a very special care is to females and children, because they are not very resistant to vulnerable diseases. Special Pediatric and Gynecology camps are organized to ensure their better health. Seed CSR in collaboration with many corporate brands have benefitted around 173,267 patients throughout India.

Our Endo Pharma project i.e. Endo Pharmaceuticals “Community Development Programme”- Kelambakkam, Alathur & Chennai (in and around villages), Tamil Nadu is also one of the most successful project of Seed CSR in Healthcare. We organized special health camps for underprivileged community through Mobile Health Unit leading to improvement in health problems and conducted sanitation and hygiene sessions for healthy living. These facilities will result in improved basic status of the community in targeted locations.

Through health camps, plays and demonstrations we give necessary information about contagious and waterborne diseases which can be avoided by taking necessary precautions. As a part of this we initiated India’s First On-Site Sanitation Technology based toilets with behaviors trackers in Varanasi. Good health is the key for every individual’s happiness as well as Nation’s. Every Nation’s growth and happiness is directly related to its citizens’ health because a healthy population will live longer, will be more productive, and will save more. This in turn will result in better economic progress.

To spread awareness on preventive methods for malaria and Save Life, Seed CSR organized Health Awareness Camp at Budasan Village Kadi in Mehsana district on 25th April 2017.

During this camp, villagers were given free medical check-up on various health issues pertaining to the demographic region of Mehsana. Also, an interactive session was organized with motive to prevent malaria and suggest preventive measure for the same.

The Delegates from Somany Ceramics were also part of the Campaign. Mr. Digant Joshi (Head, Human Resource) from Somany Ceramics was the Chief Guest of the event.

The villagers from the Mehsana district came forward and engaged in interactive participation in the event. Smt. Parmar Bharti Ben, village girl shared the symptoms of malaria and preventive method for the same. She enlightened the villagers about solutions to this disease through story telling.

At the end of the session, 200 informative pamphlets on consisting of preventive methods for malaria were distributed to the villagers. At the same time, 150 Malaria Awareness Stickers were also given to the villagers.

The event started with one patient at the beginning and by the end of the day the Health Services and Check Up Session was provided to more than 150 localities.
