Providing Better Healthcare services is our promise to community and that is why Seed CSR is a leading organization who has initiated a number of CSR Projects in Healthcare. Initiating CSR in Healthcare is a challenging task, so we have a doctor’s team who are well efficient in doing their job responsibilities. Still many of India’s Population cannot afford basic healthcare services, especially population of rural areas/ villages. Seed CSR frequently organizes health check-up camps for free of cost, where certified and experienced doctors goes for overall check-up of villagers followed by medication. India also accounts for the largest number of maternity deaths. A majority of people in rural areas where maternal health care is poor are still seeking a good health care service. Seed CSR provides a very special care is to females and children, because they are not very resistant to vulnerable diseases. Special Pediatric and Gynecology camps are organized to ensure their better health. Seed CSR in collaboration with many corporate brands have benefitted around 173,267 patients throughout India.

Our Endo Pharma project i.e. Endo Pharmaceuticals “Community Development Programme”- Kelambakkam, Alathur & Chennai (in and around villages), Tamil Nadu is also one of the most successful project of Seed CSR in Healthcare. We organized special health camps for underprivileged community through Mobile Health Unit leading to improvement in health problems and conducted sanitation and hygiene sessions for healthy living. These facilities will result in improved basic status of the community in targeted locations.

Good health is the key for every individual’s happiness as well as Nation’s. Every Nation’s growth and happiness is directly related to its citizens’ health because a healthy population will live longer, will be more productive, and will save more. Disaster Risk Management & Rural Development through CSR Projects

Disaster Risk Management & Rural Development through CSR Projects

Natural Disasters are not under human being’s control and it impact local communities drastically. It’s high time for everyone including corporate companies to dedicate their attention towards projects for Disaster Risk Reduction. We all should focus towards CSR projects for Rural Development and Disaster Management.

SEED is India’s leading integrated CSR consulting, planning and implementing agency with an absolute authority in strategizing and implementing the Corporate Social Responsibility and Financial inclusion projects across India. We have collaborated with many top brands to implement CSR for rural development and disaster reduction. We keep organizing various camps in coastal areas to educate villagers about things to do in case of any natural calamity. We even organize mock drills for them. A big example of the same is our project for rural development in SUVA village of Gujarat.

SEED and TechnipFMC which is a global leader in subsea, onshore/ offshore and surface projects, have together taken an important initiative towards this serious issue, with aim to bring a big positive change towards Disaster Risk Reduction. We have recently initiated a CSR project in a small village of Gujrat. This village is located in the ‘Vagra’ Taluka of ‘Bharuch’ district in Gujarat. ‘SUVA’ is a Gram Panchayat with an area of 1238 hectares and a population of 1920 as per 2011 Census. Its post office name is ‘Dahej’ and nearest town ‘Bharuch’ is about 33 kms away. This is a coastal area and so prone to natural disaster.

The project “TechnipFMC Sustainable Model Village” is a program focusing towards sustainable rural economy which generates and maintains necessary resources to improve quality of life in rural areas. This project is a combination of community as well as livelihood development activities, which are adopting holistic development approach to create “Technip India Sustainable Model Village” with vibrant and economically sustainable rural community. The deliverables and outcomes of the project are tangible and measurable.

Major components of this project included Quality Healthcare, Quality Education (Edu-Child), Women Empowerment and Disaster Management.

While under Disaster Management hundreds of kits were distributed to Village Disaster Management Committee (VMDC) and Village Development Committee (VDC) members. Gram Panchayat and SEED team distributed these kits under TechnipFMC employee engagement program. This kit included radio, first aid box, flash light with extra batteries, power banks and Swiss army knife.

WOMEN AND A BROOM: LIFE CHANGING OBJECT

WOMEN AND A BROOM: LIFE CHANGING OBJECT

A broom is merely an object used for cleaning and in Indian context also for beating people in and around neighborhood for unharmful acts. It has been acted as a weapon for Indian women since its inception before the modern-day pepper sprays arrived in market. This insanely stick like tools with fibers usually of materials like hair, corn husks and plastic is seen to degrade the status quo of women and is debatable. This is evident from the fact that women not men are majorly seen doing the cleaning work at home because of the traditional responsibility of work bestowed upon them since ages.

Seed Is Contributing to the Growth of an Individual As Well As the Country

Seed Is Contributing to the Growth of an Individual As Well As the Country

Ever since Mr. Narendra Modi has become the prime minister of India, there has been a greater focus on Swachh Bharat Mission. He along with his cabinet member have allocated a great deal of investment in order to make India clean. It might seem to be a mammoth task but now it seems to be working. It is a fact that cleanliness is next to Godliness therefore it is vital to inculcate good habits about keeping surroundings clean and educate young children ,to keep the surroundings clean. Once they form a habit right from their childhood, it would remain with them till their rest of their life

Another major issue which goes along with Swachh Bharat Mission is Skill development. India is one of those countries which is blessed with one of the maximum manpower, however the sad part is unfortunately very few of that working class possess skills. Because of less of skills, they tend to work very hard, while making use of very little knowledge and equipment, still are not able to get the best out of them. This not only cost more but also does not guarantee 100% efficiency.

Keeping this in mind the www.seed.ind.in is taking several initiative in the field of training young and dynamic resources in the field of Carpentry, Electrical Work, Plumbing and Missionary. They provide many job oriented courses and upon completion also handle out certificates which help them in getting instant jobs. Many have also been able to start their own work and it has been seen that after completing the courses and training they are more confident and the level of services which they offer has also been very competitive. This not only benefits the services provider but also the person who is availing the service.

People who are educated and are aware of the opportunities are more or less aware of the impact of cleanliness and work shoulder to shoulder to enhance their capability as well as keeping the environment clean. Therefore in short skill development and Swachh Bharat Mission go hand in hand.

www.seed.ind.in provides a variety of program and services however Skill development has proved to be very successful and is operating at full capacity. Its aim is to train more and more people who can contribute to the growth of the country and go on to become successful individual in the future.
